RULES OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

1. The self-discipline should become part of every student's personal character for life. The pupils are forbidden to use alcoholic beverages, tobacco, drugs or narcotics in any form, profane language, obscene literature, gambling, and jewellery such as rings, necklaces, earrings and other such unnecessary and valuable items. * Mobile phones, cameras, and other electronic items are strictly prohibited on the campus.


2.  All should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. A student who is slovenly dressed may
even be sent back home.


3.  Pupils are not permitted to attend parties, see the cinema or go to a friend's house on their way
back home from school.


4. Any damage done will be made good by the one who has done it. No pupils should bring
razor blades or any sharp instruments to school.


5.  All letters and correspondence addressed to pupils are subject to the scrutiny of the Principal.

6. The school is not responsible for articles or money lost. Running, playing, shouting and whistling inside the school building is not permitted.


8.  Cycles must be kept locked at the cycle stand. No vehicle should be driven on the school
campus while entering or leaving the school gate. One must walk instead of riding.


9. Students who come to school escorted by parents or servants should never leave the
school premises before they arrive. In case of any delay, it should be reported to the school office.


10. Those who g o home by themselves should reach home straight without loitering on the
way. Students are warned not to buy anything, especially food, from street vendors.


11. All applications for certificates must be made in writing. These will only be issued after 3 days from the receipt of the application.


12. Students will not receive private tuition from school teachers without the permission of the Principal. Our teachers who teach private tuition are liable to face disciplinary action. Parents and Guardians should take note that private tuition is prohibited both by the service rules of the school and the affiliation bye-laws of the CBSE.


13. Parents are requested to check the diaries of their children every day and ensure that Instructions are being followed by their children properly.


14. Parents should not criticise a teacher in the presence of their children because it causes a student to lose his/her respect for the teacher. If you have an illegitimate complaint, see the Principal.


15. Discipline in the classroom will be under the control of the teacher who i s teaching at the time. The class teacher is authorised by the Principal to maintain discipline in his/her class.


16. The school takes no responsibility for students who are outside the school during school hours without permission.

17. The rules of etiquette and manners must be observed by all the pupils. Juniors will respect and obey their seniors and teachers, and seniors will be loving and considerate to all the juniors.

18. Students are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct in and outside the school. Hence, misbehaviour in public places justifies dismissal and discourtesy and disrespect to teachers are a sufficient cause for dismissal from the school.

19. Parents are welcome to meet the teachers by prior appointment.

​

20. Students and Parents are requested not to use Polythene bags.

​

21. Students are strictly forbidden to bring crackers and other such materials to school. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the students found doing so.

22. Fine of any kind, or collection or sale for any purpose whatsoever, requires the prior sanction of the principal.

23. Celebration of birthday parties and other social and religious functions is not permitted during school hours.

​

24. Students are forbidden to join any outside sports organisation without permission from the principal.

​

25. Long leave from school for marriages, vacations, and family functions will be sanctioned only by the principal. Leave from the school must not be prefixed or suffixed to the school holidays, such as summer, winter, Diwali or D.P. holidays.
