ST. JOHN'S EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY
St. John’s Educational Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860, on May 7, 1999. The Objectives of the Society clearly state that it shall be run by Christian minorities and will work for the social, cultural, economic, and educational upliftment of Christian minorities as well as other sections of society.
The Society has the authority to establish minority educational institutions for the advancement and propagation of education, especially among the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, the unprivileged, and the weaker sections of society. It also works for the educational development of people from other sections of society in general, particularly in rural areas, with the aim of dispelling the darkness of illiteracy.
To begin its mission, the Society took over the management of St. John’s School, English Medium, Simdega, on July 15, 1999.
The members of the Society express their heartfelt gratitude to the founder, benefactors, well-wishers, teachers, students, parents, and guardians for their continuous support.
